Resumen
(ES) La teoría de las inteligencias múltiples fue propuesta por Howard Gardner en 1983 y ha sido
entendida como una forma novedosa y original de concebir y evaluar la capacidad intelectual
de las personas mediante actividades cercanas a su experiencia vital. En el siguiente trabajo se
realiza una descripción detallada de los diferentes tipos de inteligencias identificadas por el
autor. Asimismo, se especifican los criterios que se tienen en cuenta para que una destreza
particular sea considerada como inteligencia y se identifican tareas que pueden ser fácilmente
implementadas en el contexto escolar para llevar a cabo su evaluación. Finalmente, se
propone una unidad didáctica en la que, a través de una aproximación a la literatura infantil y
la lectura y comprensión de diversos cuentos (“El monstruo de colores”, “Paco y el rock”, “El
rebaño” y “La semillita”), se plantean una serie de actividades destinadas a la evaluación de
las diversas formas de inteligencia enunciadas en la teoría.
(EN) The theory of multiple intelligences was suggested by Howard Gardner in 1983 and it has been understood as a novel and original way to conceive and assess intellectual capacity through nearby activities to its vital experience. The following dissertation describes the several intelligence types identified by the author. Additionally, it specifies the criteria taken into account so that a particular ability is considered Gardner’s intelligence, and also identifies easily implementable tasks in the school context for being assessed. Finally, a teaching unit its proposed, which outlines activities destined for assess the several intelligence types aforementioned in the theory, through a closeness to children’s literature and reading and reading comprehension of several story (“The Colour Monster”, “Paco and rock”, “The Flock” and “The Tiny Seed”), be outline activities destined to assess of diverse intelligence type sketch out in the theory.
