Resumen
En el presente trabajo se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica sobre el Tercer Sector de Acción Social, haciendo un recorrido histórico para contextualizar al Sector y aportando, tanto diferentes concepciones de autores/as, como trabajos de investigación sobre los ámbitos de actuación, legislación vigente y financiación del Sector. Además, se aborda la relación entre el TSAS y el voluntariado, donde se analiza el perfil de los voluntarios/as, y los retos a los que se enfrentan. Por su importancia en el Sector, nos centramos en una entidad particular; Cruz Roja Española. Dado que el Estado de Bienestar no erradicó la desigualdad social, el Tercer Sector de Acción Social y el voluntariado están intrínsecamente relacionados, de forma que resulta vital recalcar su relevancia en el desarrollo social de España y comprender la finalidad a la que dirigen su actividad; satisfacer una demanda social que cada vez es más extensa y compleja
In this paper, a bibliographical review of the Third Sector of Social Action has been carried out, making a historical review to contextualize the Sector and providing different conceptions of authors, as well as research works on the fields of action, current legislation and financing of the Sector. In addition, the relationship between the TSSA and volunteering is addressed, where the profile of volunteers and the challenges they face are analyzed. Due to its importance in the Sector, we focus on a particular entity; the Spanish Red Cross. Given that the Welfare State did not eradicate social inequality, the Third Sector of Social Action and volunteering are intrinsically related, so it is vital to emphasize their relevance in the social development of Spain and to understand the purpose to which they direct their activity; to satisfy a social demand that is increasingly extensive and complex
