EL PAPEL DE LOS ANIMALES DE INTERVENCIÓN ASISTIDA EN LOS DESASTRES: UNA REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA DE LA LITERATURA

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo es una revisión sistemática de la literatura entre los ámbitos de la intervención asistida con animales (IAA) y los desastres. La búsqueda tiene el objetivo de analizar la función y los problemas encontrados entre las IAA y los tipos de desastres mundiales mediante una revisión sistemática de los artículos académicos publicados sobre las IAA dentro de las catástrofes en los últimos 20 años. Se ha utilizado la metodología PRISMA durante el proceso. Los resultados muestran pocos estudios que analicen estos dos ámbitos conjuntamente. Las conclusiones indican deficiencias en: la implementación, los límites entre la intervención sanitaria y la psicosocial, la logística, el transporte, los refugios seguros, las tareas, la formación, el uso de los primeros auxilios psicológicos (PAP), la gestión, el equipamiento, las posibles zoonosis, la ausencia de legislación y el choque de culturas.

[EN] This work is a systematic review of the literature between the fields of animal-assisted intervention (AAI) and disasters. The search aims to analyze the role and problems found out between IAA and global disaster sorts through a systematic review of published scholarly articles on IAA within catastrophes in the last 20 years. The PRISMA methodology has been used during the process. The results show few studies that analyze these two areas together. The conclusions indicate deficiencies in: implementation, boundaries between health and psychosocial intervention, logistics, transport, safe havens, tasks, training, use of psychological first aid (PFI), management, equipment, possible zoonoses, the absence of legislation and the clash of cultures.
