The experience of relative deprivation has consequences in multiple spheres of people's lives. This empirical investigation is aimed at testing its potential positive relationship with one of the most normalised and at the same time disturbing online activities: trolling. To do so, the different areas with which both have been related in different studies, such as low prosociality, hostile behaviour or other problematic behaviors like bullying, are presented, while also analysing variables such as objective and subjective social class. The results show that such a relationship only occurs for men, and that there is a negative correlation of relative deprivation with both monthly income and the position in which individuals place themselves on the social scale
