Mathematics is an essential subject which takes part not only in the educational process, but in people’s life. They are constantly applied to solve quotidian problems. The dissertation, which is presented below, sets out a Syllabus focused on 5-year-old pupils. It is inspired on a model of Project-based learning and the Theory of the Didactic Situations. The project revolves around art, more specifically around museum-related issues, such as its characteristics and history. In addition, so as to reach the goal of a math-competent student body, there are many disciplines which are integrated, pointing out Mathematics. For this reason, it is very important to make the student body have an active role during these projects. Moreover, functional and cooperative learning, manipulation, experimentation and conflict resolution are considered adding the collaboration between school and families.
