LA TRATA DE SERES HUMANOS CON FINES DE EXPLOTACIÓN SEXUAL EN EL DERECHO INTERNACIONAL

Abstract

[ES] La trata de personas con la finalidad de explotación sexual es la nueva interpretación de esclavitud del siglo XXI. Una gravísima violación de los derechos humanos que se ha convertido en el tercer negocio ilícito más beneficioso del mundo, detrás del tráfico de drogas y de armas. Este fenómeno afecta principalmente a mujeres de entre 18 a 25 años y a menores de edad. Generalmente, en ambos casos se suelen cumplir las mismas fases de actuación: las víctimas son captadas en sus países de origen, especialmente por grupos criminales, para su posterior traslado a otro país, es decir, el destino de la explotación sexual. Es obligación de los Estados trabajar en base a los textos legales internacionales para luchar contra esta actividad ilegal que supone una gravísima violación de los derechos contra las víctimas que malviven esclavizadas sexual y económicamente por las mafias que con ellas trafican.
