El pícaro en la Corte

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo tratará de situar la figura del joven pícaro en el universo cortesano con el fin de comprender cabalmente algunos de sus rasgos constitutivos a la luz del contexto social y cultural en el que se mueve. Esta figura quedará en ocasiones vinculada a la del escudero sin oficio, que sufre un desarraigo semejante al del pícaro como consecuencia del ocaso de la caballería. Por eso nos interesa en este trabajo cotejar ambos arquetipos y explorar el mundo al que se enfrentan.

[EN] The main aim of this essay will be the analysis of the young rogue’s life and the situation he will fo through in order to get the possibility to thrive in the new society where he lives. This character will also be closely connected to the image of the squire, giving special notice to the way this character has changed as society.
