UN SISTEMA ECONÓMICO CON NUEVOS VALORES LA ECONOMÍA DEL BIEN COMÚN

Abstract

[ES] Cada vez son más las voces que claman por un nuevo sistema económico internacional, considerando que la actual economía capitalista ha llegado a su final de ciclo. Quieren encontrar una nueva economía de mercado, más humana, que respete los valores éticos y al mundo que le rodea, porque si continúa la búsqueda de dinero por encima de todo lo demás, antes o después el colapso se va a producir. Son muchas las alternativas que han surgido en los últimos tiempos, y seguro que vendrán más. La Economía del Bien Común es sólo una de ellas, pero merece ser considerada con detalle, porque propone una modificación integral de los aspectos de la economía actual. Esta propuesta considera que si todos los elementos de la economía se dirigen a buscar el bien común en lugar del bienestar propio a cualquier precio, habrá menos pobreza y desigualdad, se protegerá el medio ambiente y, en general, las personas serán más felices.

[EN] More and more people are calling for a new international economic system, considering that the current capitalist economy has reached the end of its cycle. They want to find a new more humane market economy, that respects ethical values and the world around it, because if the search of the value profit above everything else goes, sooner or later the result will be the economic collapse. There are many alternatives that have emerged in recent times, and surely more will come. The Economy for the Common Good is only one, but worth considering in detail, because it proposes a comprehensive reform of all aspects of the current economy. This proposal considers that if all elements of the economy are directed to serve de common good, poverty and inequality will decrease, the environment will be protected, and, in general, people will be happier.
