Análisis y valoración del Patrimonio Geológico del Parque Natural de Sierra Mágina

Abstract

[ES] El patrimonio geológico es un recurso no renovable que debe de utilizarse de forma sostenible. En la definición y gestión de Espacios Naturales Protegidos (ENPs) éste debería de ser considerado ya que facilitaría la delimitación del ENP y permitiría regular las actividades a realizar. Para que la consideración del patrimonio geológico en la gestión del ENP sea eficiente, debe de contemplarse en el PORN y el PRUG del ENP. Para analizar estas cuestiones se ha considerado el inventario de patrimonio geológico del Parque Natural de Sierra Mágina, realizado en el marco de la Estrategia Andaluza de Gestión Integrada de la Geodiversidad. En este inventario hay cinco LIGs (Manantial de Fuenmayor, Manantial de Mata Bejid, Manantial del Gargantón, Karst de Sierra Mágina y Serie Jurásica del río Cuadros). La valoración realizada ha aportado que el valor científico no es muy relevante en ellos, pero sí los valores didácticos y turísticos.

[EN] Geological Heritage is a non-renewable resource that must be used in a sustainable way. In the definition and management of the protected natural areas (ENPs), it should be considered since it would facilitate the ENP delimitation and would allow to regular the proposed activities. Thus, for effective consideration of the geological heritage in the ENP management, that one must be envisaged both in the Natural Resources Development Plan and in the Use and Management Plan. To discuss these issues, the geological heritage inventory of the Sierra Mágina Natural Park has been considered, carried out within the framework of the Andalusian Strategy of Integrated Management of Geodiversity. In this inventory, there are five LIGs (Spring of Fuenmayor, Spring of Mata Bejid, Spring of the Gargantón, Karst of Sierra Mágina and Jurassic Sequence of the Cuadros river). The valuing has shown that scientific value has a low degree but the didactic and touristic values provide us good information about the potential use of the LIGs
