Abstract: | [ES]El Aceite de oliva se empezó a producir en la cuenca mediterránea, aunque se considera que el olivo ha estado presente en nuestro planeta desde antes de la existencia del ser humano; incluso en algunas civilizaciones del Medio Oriente se ha considerado como un cultivo sagrado. Durante muchas generaciones tanto hojas como fruto y aceite de olivo fueron utilizados para la elaboración de remedios caseros para la salud y cosmética; con el paso de los años y la industrialización de las recetas tradicionales se perdieron paulatinamente. Durante esta investigación se buscó recuperar algunas recetas tradicionales y recopilarlas en un recetario accesible para todo público, para así favorecer su difusión. [EN]Olive oil was first produced in the Mediterranean, it is considered that the olive tree has been present on earth before the human being. Some Middle Eastern civilizations considered the olive tree as a sacred crop. For many generations use, leaves, fruit and olive oil to prepare home remedies for health and cosmetics. With industrialization and generational step traditional recipes are gradually lost. This research recovered some traditional recipes. They were compiled in a booklet with vocabulary accessible to all audiences, to make it easier dissemination.
