Abstract

El Trabajo Social Forense surge por la necesidad de acercar la realidad social al sistema judicial y ofrecer apoyo técnico en la toma de decisiones. Los profesionales judiciales, aunque tienen potestad para decidir, carecen del contacto directo necesario para comprender a fondo las situaciones sociales. El Trabajo Social Forense se convierte así en un asesor clave, facilitando dictámenes más acertados y considerando la realidad social de los afectados. En los últimos años, el aumento de separaciones y divorcios en nuestro país ha impactado significativamente a los menores, quienes sufren la ruptura familiar y a menudo son utilizados por los padres como intermediarios, afectándolos negativamente. El Trabajo Social interviene no solo para elaborar informes periciales, sino también para informar y concienciar a los padres sobre la importancia de proteger a los menores de los conflictos del proceso de separación

Forensic Social Work emerged due to the need to bring social reality closer to the judicial system and to provide technical support in decision-making. Judicial professionals, although they have the authority to decide, lack the direct contact necessary to fully understand social situations. Thus, Forensic Social Work becomes a key advisor, facilitating more accurate judgments that consider the social reality of those affected. In recent years, the increase in separations and divorces in our country has significantly impacted minors, who suffer from family breakdown and are often used by parents as intermediaries, which negatively affects them. Social Work intervenes not only to prepare expert reports but also to inform and raise awareness among parents about the importance of protecting minors from the conflicts of the separation process
