EL/LA TRABAJADOR/A SOCIAL Y LA MODIFICACIÓN DE LA CAPACIDAD OBRAR EN PERSONAS MAYORES

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es el estudio y análisis del proceso de modificación de la capacidad en personas mayores y personas con discapacidad, así como las recientes modificaciones del proceso a raíz de la Convención de los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad, donde podemos observar cómo se pretende dar mayor individualidad a cada caso. Se afrontan otras formas jurídicas de protección para los colectivos señalados y otros grupos vulnerables, así como el debate generado tras el Proyecto de Ley por la que se reforma la legislación civil y procesal para el apoyo a las personas con discapacidad en el ejercicio de su capacidad jurídica. Finalmente se engarza el estudio con la pieza que justifica este trabajo dentro del Grado en Trabajo Social al aplicar el estudio desde la perspectiva del Colectivo de Trabajo Social en el desarrollo de los procesos mencionados y la intervención de este agente social
