PROTOTIPO PARA LA GESTIÓN Y TRATAMIENTO DE DATOS DE DISPOSITIVOS PONIBLES (WEARABLES)

Abstract

El avance en la tecnología ha permitido el desarrollo de pequeños dispositivos ponibles, que pueden ser llevados en el cuerpo y al mismo tiempo son capaces de obtener diversos datos del usuario. No obstante, es preciso identificar los rasgos que caracterizan a cada persona para un mismo estímulo o emoción, con el fin de poder estudiarlo de forma más precisa. Por ello, para este proyecto hay dos objetivos principales que cumplir. El primero, poder hacer uso de dichos datos para estudiarlos y con ello poder obtener patrones de comportamiento para el usuario, para ayudarle a reconocer y prevenir ciertas situaciones. Por último, enriquecer la información de los sensores y combinarla con datos del mundo real, como la localización GPS. En resumen, la idea principal es poder recibir diversos tipos de información, procesarlos y poder fusionar tanto los datos de dispositivos personales como datos del mundo real.

The development of technology has made it possible to develop wearables, small devices that we can wear while they gather data from their users. Nonetheless, it is necessary to identify the features that each individual has for a same stimulus, in order to study them more effectively. That said, there are two main goals to accomplish with this project. The first one, is being able to use such data to study the user and therefore obtain behavior patterns, in order to recognize and prevent some situations. The other one, is to enhance this information provided by sensors, by adding data from the real world, such as the user’s location. To summarize, the main idea is to be able to obtain several kinds of information, to process it all together and to fuse the data from both the wearables and the real world.
