ICT AS A MEANS OF CONTENT AND LANGUAGE SCAFFOLDING IN THE CLIL PRIMARY CLASSROOM. A DIDACTIC PROPOSAL

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster propone una Unidad Didáctica en el área de Ciencias Naturales, dirigida al 3o curso de Educación Primaria. Esta propuesta se basa en el enfoque de Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos y Lenguas (AICLE), utilizando las TIC para andamiar el proceso de aprendizaje de contenidos y lenguas desde diferentes perspectivas. En el marco teórico se desarrollan los conceptos principales del tema en cuestión: AICLE, un enfoque para aprender contenidos y lenguas de forma integrada. El andamiaje, que da a los profesores y a los alumnos las herramientas para trabajar los contenidos y la lengua y poder alcanzar el conocimiento y el dominio de estos. Las TIC, herramientas muy útiles para incluir en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. En la segunda parte del trabajo se desarrolla la Unidad Didáctica que presenta un modelo de integración de las TIC en su estrategia de andamiaje AICLE.

[EN] This Master's Thesis proposes a Didactic Unit in the area of Natural Sciences, aimed at the 3rd year of Primary Education. This proposal is based on the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach, using ICT to scaffold the content and language learning process from different perspectives. The theoretical framework develops the main concepts of the topic in question, which are CLIL, an approach to learning content and languages in an integrated way. Scaffolding, which gives teachers and learners the tools to work with content and language in order to achieve knowledge and mastery. ICT, very useful tools to be included in the teaching and learning process. The second part of the paper develops the Teaching Unit which presents a model of ICT integration in its CLIL scaffolding strategy.
