Language identity: a reflection of past and present times

Abstract

El lenguaje es la herramienta más poderosa que tenemos como humanos y es una de las razones por las que somos humanos. Este instrumento ayudó a la civilización humana a expandirse por todo el mundo, ya sea por transmisión oral o escrita. En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado, me centraré en el concepto de la identidad del lenguaje, explicando este concepto y reflejándolo en nuestra sociedad actualmente más aislada debido al COVID-19

Language is the most powerful tool that we have as humans and it is one of the reasons why we are humans. This device helped the human civilization to expand across the entire world, whether by oral or written transmission. In this End of Degree Dissertation, I will focus on the concept of language identity, explaining this concept and reflecting it in our currently more isolated society due to the COVID-19.
