Las diferentes posiciones maternas en el parto

Abstract

[ES] La posición materna para el parto ha sufrido una evolución clara en el tiempo. Hace años se permitía a la mujer una posición más libre, más natural y hoy en día hemos llegado a una posición estática y prácticamente fija para todas las mujeres que van a dar a luz. Son conocidas las diferentes posiciones y posibilidad de movimientos de la mujer durante el parto, pero en la práctica no se refleja actualmente. El objetivo de esta revisión es determinar la posición más adecuada de la mujer y la comparación del parto en posición supina vs el parto vertical en cuanto a diferentes factores como el dolor, la duración del mismo o la satisfacción de la madre. Para ello se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica en diferentes bases de datos. Se incluyen estudios que ponen en relieve las ventajas del parto en posición vertical, las preferencias maternas y el nivel de dolor relacionado con ambas posiciones, entre otros.

[EN] The mother position for the childbirth has suffered a clear evolution in the time. Years ago there was allowed to the woman a freer, more natural position and nowadays we have come to a static and practically fixed position for all the women who are going to give birth. There are known the different positions and possibility of movements of the woman during the childbirth, but in the practice it is not reflected nowadays. The aim of this review is to determine the most suitable position of the woman and the comparison of the childbirth in supine position and the vertical childbirth as for different factors as the pain, the duration of the same one or the satisfaction of the mother. For it I have realized a bibliographical review in different databases. There are included studies that put in relief the advantages of the childbirth in vertical position, the mother preferences and the level of pain related to both positions, between others.
