Investigación y aplicación del Roget’s Thesaurus

Abstract

[ES]En este siglo el inglés es una herramienta importante en la comunicación social. El diccionario como instrumento de carácter práctico lleva implícita la necesidad de un aprendizaje para su correcto empleo. Peter Mark Roget publicó su primer Tesauro hace más de 150 años. Muchos escritores, oradores y estudiantes que hablan la lengua inglesa lo han utilizado. En este trabajo analizaré la estructura del Roget's Thesaurus, explicaré cómo se reorganiza el diccionario en otro idioma, y finalmente hablaré acerca de la utilización de Apps relacionadas con el uso del diccionario en el aula. El objetivo de esta investigación es la popularización y la aplicación de la obra.

[EN]In this century, English is an important tool of social communication in all parts of the world. The dictionary as an instrument of practical nature entails the need for learning its correct usage. Peter Mark Roget published his first Thesaurus over 150 years. Many writers, orators and students of the English language have used it. This article includes analysing the structure of Roget's Thesaurus, rearrange the dictionary in another language, and apply in the classroom. The objective of this research is the popularization and application about this book.
